Discussing the Eye of the Beholder

I was a high school freshman when I first saw this movie "The Eye of the Beholder" being played on an old movie projector in my English class by former high school English teacher Richard Muller, who later became Psychologist Dr. Richard Muller. I was a student of his throughout all four years in Deerborne High School. The first two years were for English, one was for Behavioral Science, and the last was for Psychology. Great Teacher. I still remember him . . and I love him, and respect him, and admire him. I added this movie to my blog here. I believe in rational thinking and I disfavor the tendency of many to give themelves over to irrational knee-jerk reactions. I plead guilty to this myself. I've done it. Most of us humans tend to do this as well. This movie here, old as it is, can and does teach us that it is a wise response to delay giving ourselves over to this tendency as immediately as many of us tend to do so. And how right, how correct, is the basic story line that the movie exhorts us to wait a little bit before we react in haste. So without further ado, I'm now withdrawing and letting the movie itself do the rest of the talking. Enjoy!
